1. SWISS NATIONALIST DEPORTATION PLAN CONDEMNED

Comparing that proposal with Nazi policies is a nonsense, Swiss people have any right to protect themselves against imported criminals. The BNP is committed to do the same in the UK

http://www.guardian.co.uk/farright/story/0,,2160047,00.html

Switzerland's largest political party was today accused of promoting an oppressive deportation scheme that allegedly mirrors a law operated by Nazi Germany. The nationalist Swiss People's party, which shares power in the governing coalition, has proposed new legislation that would see entire families of immigrants deported if their children are convicted of crimes involving violence, drugs or benefit fraud. If approved in a proposed referendum, it would become the only law of its kind in Europe. A campaign poster, condemned by anti-racism campaigners, shows three white sheep kicking out a black sheep with the strapline: "For more security." Ueli Maurer, the People's party president, said: "We believe that parents are responsible for bringing up their children. If they can't do it properly, they will have to bear the consequences." The party claims foreigners, who make up about 20% of the Swiss population, are four times more likely to commit crimes than Swiss nationals. "As soon as the first 10 families and their children have been expelled from the country, then things will get better at a stroke," Mr Maurer said. Ronnie Bernheim, of the Swiss Foundation against Racism and Anti-Semitism, said the proposal was similar to the Nazi practice of "Sippenhaft" - or kin liability - whereby convicted criminals and their relatives were held jointly responsible and punished equally. He stressed that the vast majority of immigrants in Switzerland were law-abiding. "If you don't treat a complicated issue with the necessary nuance and care, then you won't do it justice," Mr Bernheim said. The UN High Commission for Refugees, which is based in Geneva, said the law would contravene the UN refugee convention and could also fall foul of European human rights legislation and even Switzerland's own constitution. Recent polls have put the People's party more than three points in front of its closest rival, the Social Democrats, ahead of October's elections for Switzerland's lower house of parliament. The party is trying to collect the 100,000 signatures needed to hold a referendum on its deportation scheme. In 2004 it successfully campaigned for tighter immigration laws using the image of black hands reaching into a pot filled with Swiss passports. The party has also suggested banning the building of minaret towers alongside mosques.

2. 'POINTLESS' TO DEPORT POLE WHO RAPED WOMAN A WEEK AFTER HE ARRIVED IN BRITAIN

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=479123&in_page_id=1770

A Polish migrant subjected a British woman to a violent rape only one week after he arrived in Britain, a court heard. Michal Piotr Kwidzinski, 22, seized a 38-year-old barmaid as she walked home from work in the early hours. The burly 6ft 5in Pole dragged his petite 5ft 2in victim into a builder's van where he raped her three times whilst holding her down by the neck and beating her head on the floor. A policeman who arrived at the scene in Newquay, Cornwall, after a member of the public heard the woman's screams was confronted by the "enormous" frame of Kwidzinski and the victim slumped in the corner, drenched in blood. The officer sprayed CS gas into Kwidzinski's eyes but the rapist threw him to the ground and he hit his head. However, he was rugby-tackled by builder Timothy Miller who held him down until more police arrived. Kwidzinski pleaded guilty to rape and assaulting a police officer. Sentencing him to nine years in prison, of which he will serve half, Judge John Neligan said it was "pointless" for him to recommend deportation after he has served his sentence because of "the current state of the law". The court heard that Kwidzinski arrived in Cornwall in February to start work as a flower picker. Robert Linford, prosecuting, said: "He had been in Newquay with friends and had been drinking a considerable amount. "He became separated from his friend which annoyed him a lot. "He was on his way to a disco when he bumped into a Russian man who gave him some white powder that he said was to help him have the energy and strength to work the next day. "Clearly these were amphetamines. He tried to find a disco and it was then he saw the victim in an alleyway." He pulled at her sleeve and demanded sex and when she refused he attacked her. He found a van belonging to a builder parked nearby and forced the victim into the back where he started to beat her. Mr Linford went on: "Afterwards the victim was helped from the van by police and paramedics. She said to one police officer: 'I thought he was going to kill me. Thank you for saving my life'. "She was covered from head to toe in blood and bruises, she had a bruised eye, swollen lip and cuts to the back of her head." Malcolm Clarke, mitigating, said Kwidzinski had had an argument on the phone with his partner in Poland that evening and was drinking heavily, as well as taking drugs and medication. He added: "He is someone of good character who suddenly turned into a monster. "He comes from a small village in Poland and wasn't used to the bright lights of Newquay. "He is a Catholic man who prays every day for forgiveness and the forgiveness of his victim." The judge recommended that Mr Miller, who went to investigate after his 15-year-old son heard screams near his home, should receive a commendation for bravery and also awarded him £100 in recognition of his public-spirited action. The victim said after the hearing: "This has changed my life for ever. I always thought rape happened to someone else but it can happen to anyone, young or old. Please be careful and have your wits about you."

3. RACIAL IMBALANCE IN OUR CITIES PUTS BRITAIN AT RISK

Nice to see mainstream newspapers admitting the truth about the long term consequences of mass immigration. This party has been saying that for a long time and it was vilified as racist and xenophobic.

http://www.dailyexpress.co.uk/ourcomments/view/17872/Racial-imbalance-in-our-cities-puts-Britain-at-risk

White people will be in the minority in Birmingham, England’s second city, within 20 years. That same milestone will be passed in Leicester in just four years. The racial make-up of our major cities is changing with a rapidity which has never been known before. As recently as 2001, fewer than 30 per cent of Birmingham’s population was non-white. But high birth rates among many ethnic communities, “white flight” out of cities by indigenous people dismayed at the marginalisation of their culture and a continuing high level of immigration have accelerated the trend. During the first major migrant influx from the New Commonwealth in the middle of the last century, anyone predicting such a demographic transformation would have been condemned as a scaremonger or a lunatic. But now, when many British people return to the districts of their birth, they report feeling like strangers in their own land. The researchers from Manchester University who uncovered these population trends claim they have no “practical significance”. That may be a politically correct verdict but it could not be more wrong. Encouraged by the failed doctrine of multiculturalism, many minority communities have still not accepted key aspects of the British way of life. In Birmingham, the continuing expansion of a largely segregated Pakistani community is likely to mean women’s rights and free speech coming under further pressure and more of the episodes of electoral fraud which have disfigured its politics in recent years. It will surely mean, as well, an increase in the number of terrorist sympathisers at large. That the culture and identity of a great city such as Birmingham should be undermined in this way is surely proof positive that the tiny liberal elite which runs Britain – and hates it – is well on the way to destroying it.

4. MORE THAN 8,000 EASTERN EUROPEANS ARRIVE IN BRITAIN EVERY DAY

Only 13,000 of them were supposed to come but Government incompetence on this topic is legendary. The real tragedy is that no one knows how many are arriving unnoticed.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=475119&in_page_%20id=1770

More than 8,350 Eastern Europeans are arriving in Britain every day, official figures showed yesterday. Around three million poured into the country in the 12 months to June - an increase of a quarter over the year before. The Government claims many of the arrivals are simply visiting friends and relatives from the former Eastern Bloc, around 600,000 of whom have moved here permanently since the EU's expansion in May 2004. But no accurate record exists of how many of the visitors actually go home. It is also thought many of the arrivals, around half of whom are from Poland, are taking advantage of cheap flights with budget airlines to look for work or places to live in Britain before attempting to move here permanently. The visitors include 210,000 from Romania and Bulgaria, both of which joined the EU at the start of this year. Some 117,000 from the two countries have come here since January alone, when they were granted free access to visit. The number of work permits handed out to Romanians and Bulgarians is limited to 20,000. But ministers have just begun a consultation on whether to lift the restrictions next year. Yesterday's figures, published by the Office for National Statistics, suggest that if the limit on work permits is lifted, tens of thousands are likely to move here permanently. One possibility is they are already investigating the jobs market ahead of any decision by the Government. The tourist board VisitBritain, however, welcomed the figures. It said Eastern European tourists are making a major contribution to the economy, with Poles alone spending more than £ 470million last year. The number of visitors from Poland, at around 1.5million, now outstrips arrivals from Australia and Japan combined. As the number of holidaymakers from traditional visitor countries declines, Eastern Europeans are taking their place. A spokesman for VisitBritain said efforts were being made to market the country to Poles, who have their own dedicated section on the board's website. He added: "Poland has been one of our "emerging markets" which we have invested in since 2004. We have an office in Hungary, which manages our activities in Hungary, Poland and the Czech Republic." Tom Wright, the chief executive of Visit-Britain, said: "More and more of our visitors now come from countries that are less familiar with the full range of experiences available here. "We must explore evermore creative means if we are to attract them as well as support visits from more traditional source markets.' The Home Office insisted the 3,050,000 visits - 8,356 every day - made by Eastern Europeans in the past year was not an indication of overall immigration. But, until the Government's £1.2billion electronic borders project is completed in 2014, there is no accurate record of how many of them go home. The number of Eastern Europeans who have registered to work here since May 2004 stands at more than 600,000, not including the Romanians and Bulgarians. Ministers had predicted only 13,000 a year would arrive. The influx has placed huge strain on schools, hospitals and housing. This pressure forced the Home Office to limit the work permits given to Romanians and Bulgarians. A Home Office spokesman said no decision had been taken on whether to lift the restrictions. "It remains too early to evaluate the full impact of the accession," he added.

5. POLAND LOSING ITS MAIN ATTRACTION - LOW COST POLISH WORKERS

It's now clear that opening the labour market to east European is also hugely damaging the Polish economy.

http://www.masterpage.com.pl/outlook/200708/attractivness.html

Warsaw, Poland 13 August, 2007 Foreign investors have been flocking to Poland with the expectation of finding a good supply of well educated, low cost Polish workers. But they continue to flee the country as recruiting firms tell companies that they must hire specialists to help them find those that are left. According to one recruiting Polish recruiting firm, " radical change has (sic) created special challenges for the foreign investors who are looking to benefit from the booming economy, as well as for the companies that have already set up shop in the former communist land." And those changes strike at the base assumption made by many companies in their decisions to come to Poland of having a good labor pool to choose from. Poland's Ministry of Labor admits, in spite of an official unemployment rate over 12%, to a shortage of several hundred thousand workers and is looking to the Far East, China and India for talent. Poland Turns To India To Replace Departed Polish Workers And even with that ineffective program in place, it also has opened its labor markets to temporary workers from Russia and Ukraine. Such admissions have not stopped foreign companies from opening shop in Poland. Against heavy competition for what is left of the Polish labor force, companies are driving wages up to attract people. And those wages are going up rapidly. Just during the second quarter of this year the average wage went up 8.9%. But the increased wages have not seemed to phase the Polish workers who want to leave Poland. The outflow of workers continues. And according to polls, millions more want to leave. Millions Of Polish Workers Want To Leave Poland … the situation has changed since foreign businesses first flocked to the country to tap into the exciting new market at the heart of continental Europe. Then, its work force was young, high skilled and low-cost. Since EU accession, however, wages have risen as Poles have realized that their market value may be higher than their salaries. There has also been a mass exodus of its workers in lower paid professions to other EU labour markets. Special Situation But it has not been just workers in the lower paid professions that have gone West. The emigration wave has not been discriminatory. All labor sectors have been affected. With European money pouring into the Country and the expatriate Poles sending money home, the economy is booming. And the boom is creating a higher demand for labor making the shortage worse. Foreign investors considering Poland do not seem aware that there is a new reality in Poland. And those that are here now, are being brought up short as they are being confronted with a shrinking labor pool and rising wages. No longer can one just place an advertisement in the help wanted sections of the newspapers and expect results. A company must put significant effort into even getting applications for work openings no less finding the right people for a position. The problem can get worse if the United States grants visa free travel to Poles. That would create another destination for those frustrated Poles who would choose the United States over Europe. There is no sign of a change in the desire for Poles to leave Poland and no sign of any significant number of people interested in coming back. And the realty of the new Poland will slowly sink in as Poland loses its most attractive asset for foreign investors. And that might be too late for some.

6. BULGARIANS GIVEN GET-RICH-QUICK GUIDE TO BRITAIN

The only losers of this mess are the British working class but Labour doesn't care about them anymore.

http://www.novinite.com/view_news.php?id=84175

Bulgarians without UK visas or work permits have been told to head to Britain where they can easily get black-market jobs despite regular check-ups by authorities. An undercover investigation revealed just how easily foreign workers can land a job by using forged documents. A pair of Bulgarian undercover reporters found they could earn illegally in a day in London what most Bulgarians earn in a month, despite the fact that they had no work permits. Journalists working for 24 Chasa, one of Bulgaria's biggest newspapers, wrote that they earned GBP 50 a day on a construction site and GBP 70 a day in a real estate agency. The average monthly wage in Bulgaria is around GBP 70 a month. Their report 'Black market jobs - a disgrace for England' revealed that neither of their employers, nor the Health and Safety Agency officials who performed regular check-ups at the construction site, ever demanded a work permit. The undercover journalists' report was published yesterday and concluded that Bulgarians travelling to the UK illegally can easily attain jobs despite recent measures to curb illegal immigration. The Bulgarian article also quoted Home Secretary John Reid's statement that it will be very difficult for UK authorities to stick to the government restrictions for Bulgarian and Romanian workers after they join the EU next year. One of the reporters described how he went on a job interview in a real estate agency with a fake CV and a forged home office document he had obtained for GBP 30, stating that his visa was currently under consideration. The reporter told the unnamed company's HR manager that his self-employment visa had expired and that his passport was with the home office while a new visa was being issued. He was employed on the spot as a real estate agent despite the fact that the only ID document he was able to produce was his Bulgarian driving licence. The journalists also went to an illegal labour market on the corner of Cricklewood Lane and Sheldon Road in North London, which they said consisted mainly of Poles, as well as Albanians, Romanians and Bulgarians without work permits. The men stand there every morning between 6 and 8am waiting to get picked up by employers looking for manual workers. The scheme reportedly involves English employers who hire Indian, Pakistani or Albanian subcontractors, who then look for black market workers willing to work for up to 13 hours a day for GBP 50, less than half of what skilled English labourers would demand. The rule among the workers is to take the wage on the same day, as promises of weekly payments reportedly often turned out to be frauds. The reporters then described how they and ten Poles were picked up by an Indian subcontractor with a bus and taken to a construction site somewhere in London. The foreman at the site was also a Bulgarian without a working permit. After working there for a few days they were approached by another Albanian subcontractor who offered them a job. He is quoted as saying: "If you work well, I will give you food as well." In a separate development, it was revealed that this year has seen a record number of Bulgarian citizenships granted to foreigners. Over 6,000 foreigners have been granted Bulgarian citizenship since the beginning of the year, in a trend that is believed to be triggered by Bulgaria's admission to the European Union this January.
